Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the state's first Telangana Public School (TPS) on Wednesday at Arutla village in Manchal mandal of Rangareddy district. Developed with an investment of ₹15 crore, the school has been equipped with world-class infrastructure to provide corporate-level educational standards in the government sector. The Chief Minister will unveil the TPS pylon, inspect digital classrooms, science laboratories, library, dining hall, and sports facilities, and interact with students before addressing a public gathering. As part of the pilot project, the government has selected four schools in Arutla, Manchal, Vangoor, and Polkampally, with a long-term goal of establishing 100 Telangana Public Schools across the state.
Designed to rival top private institutions, the Arutla TPS offers education from Nursery to Intermediate in English medium with international-standard facilities. Students will receive breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks, while benefiting from digital learning spaces, modern laboratories, a gymnasium, spacious classrooms, and extensive sports infrastructure for cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, tennis, and indoor games. Five school buses have also been deployed to transport students from nearby villages. Currently, the institution serves 1,814 students. CM Revanth Reddy described the school as the beginning of a transformative educational revolution, stating that TPS aims to nurture talent, promote holistic development, and redefine Telangana's public education system.
