

The two day police custody of Home Guard Venkataraju and Head Constable Ashok in the Sai Krishna lockup death case has ended. SIT officials questioned both accused for two days and reportedly gathered details on key aspects of the case, including Sai Krishna’s disappearance and the missing CCTV footage from Krishna Lanka Police Station.
Venkataraju, who has experience handling CCTV systems, was reportedly questioned specifically about the missing footage. According to reports on the SIT interrogation, Venkataraju admitted that he removed the CCTV footage after being instructed by Head Constable Ashok and former CI Nagaraju. The investigation also reportedly revealed that the DVR and hard disks were removed and destroyed. Court records have also noted the absence of CCTV footage during the crucial period of Sai Krishna’s alleged custody.
