Telangana Cheyutha Pension New Application Deadline Ends

The deadline for submitting new applications for Cheyutha pensions in Telangana has ended. A total of 5,98,193 applications were received, according to officials. These include 3,31,236 applications for widow pensions, 62,689 for single women and 1,48,882 for persons with disabilities.

In addition, 18,005 applications were received from handloom workers and 37,381 from toddy tappers. Officials will scrutinise the applications and proceed with the selection of eligible beneficiaries.
