Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a high-level review meeting at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion to assess the progress of the bullet train project and the proposed Warangal Airport. Several senior officials, including MP Vem Narender Reddy and top bureaucrats, attended the meeting. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to develop strategic railway stations along the Hyderabad–Pune and Hyderabad–Bengaluru high-speed corridors, including locations such as Vikarabad-Ananthagiri, Mannanur, and near Somasila, with a focus on improving connectivity to IT hubs and boosting tourism.
The CM also directed that Hyderabad (Shamshabad) be developed as a major bullet train hub. Special attention was given to the design of the Warangal Airport, ensuring it reflects the rich heritage of the Kakatiya Empire.
