

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met a Singapore delegation led by Augustin Lee, Permanent Secretary of the Energy Market Authority under Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, at the Telangana Assembly. The Singapore representatives expressed their readiness to explore setting up a semiconductor industry in Telangana. During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed them on the Musi rejuvenation project and the development plans for Bharat Future City.
Revanth Reddy explained that the first phase of the Musi rejuvenation project would cover the stretch from the confluence of the Musa and Esi rivers to Gandhi Sarovar. He also outlined plans for riverfront development and a night economy, while stating that Hyderabad was being developed as both a tourism destination and a knowledge hub. The Chief Minister said Bharat Future City was being planned as a net-zero city and urged the Singapore representatives to invest in Telangana and support the state’s development. He also invited them to the Telangana Global Summit scheduled to be held at Future City in December.
