Bhongir Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy launched a sharp attack on the BJP and BRS over paper leak allegations, stating that both parties were attempting to mislead the people of Telangana. He said the Congress government has successfully filled 67,000 government vacancies without any irregularities and maintained that no major mistakes had occurred in the recruitment process. He also praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's focus on protecting students' future.
Referring to the NEET paper leak controversy, Chamala said the issue became serious only after widespread student protests forced the Centre to take action. He questioned why BJP leaders had remained silent when Group-1 and Class 10 examination papers were allegedly leaked during the previous BRS government. The MP also supported Rahul Gandhi's demand for a discussion in Parliament on the NEET paper leak and accused the BJP of spreading misinformation against the Congress government in Telangana.
