The Central Government has issued a travel advisory for Indian citizens in view of the increasing spread of the Ebola virus in parts of Africa. Authorities have advised people to postpone non-essential travel to countries such as Congo, Uganda and South Sudan until the situation improves. The advisory comes amid growing global concern over rising Ebola cases in the affected regions.
Officials stated that Indian travellers should avoid visiting these countries unless absolutely necessary. Health authorities are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating precautionary measures at airports and international entry points. The government has urged travellers to strictly follow health and safety guidelines and remain alert to symptoms associated with the Ebola virus.
