Bihar Students Protest Intensifies in Patna Over BPSC Exam

Bihar witnessed heightened tension in Patna as a large number of students took to the streets demanding the cancellation of the Bihar Public Service Commission examination. The protesters attempted to march towards the residence of the state Chief Minister, turning the demonstration into a tense confrontation with the police.

The students are demanding action over the BPSC examination and have called for its cancellation. As the protesters moved towards the Chief Minister’s residence, security personnel intervened to prevent them from reaching the area. Police used water cannons to disperse the gathering and bring the situation under control.

The protest reportedly escalated further after some students allegedly threw stones at the police. Security forces were deployed in large numbers around the Chief Minister’s residence to prevent the protesters from breaching the security cordon. CRPF and RAF personnel were also deployed in the area as a precautionary measure.

The situation remains closely monitored by the authorities as officials attempt to prevent further escalation. The student agitation has once again brought attention to concerns surrounding competitive examinations and the demands being raised by aspirants in Bihar.
