Nepal Floods Cause Massive Destruction...

Severe flooding has caused extensive damage across northern districts of Nepal, with the Bhote Koshi River flowing dangerously after floodwaters surged from the Tibet border region. Several villages have reportedly been swept away, while six major hydropower projects have suffered damage. The disaster has also raised concerns over the safety of Indian nationals and NRIs reported missing in the floods.

India has extended immediate assistance to Nepal by sending 10 tonnes of relief material. The supplies include essential medicines, tents, blankets and solar lights to support people affected by the floods. Rescue and relief operations are continuing amid the difficult conditions, while authorities remain focused on locating missing people and assessing the overall damage.
