Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana and featuring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, is reportedly receiving a strong response from audiences. The film, which arrived in theatres amid considerable expectations, has been performing well at the box office. The enthusiasm is said to be visible not only in online bookings but also at theatres.
A rare incident was reportedly witnessed at the Venkata Ramana single-screen theatre in the Mukthal region of Telangana, where Irumudi was being screened successfully. Reports suggest that several audiences even had to return home after failing to get tickets. When the theatre planned to replace Irumudi with another film from Wednesday, people who arrived expecting an Irumudi show reportedly insisted that the film be screened and staged a protest at the theatre. The incident has since gone viral on social media and is being cited as an indication of the film’s strong local craze.
