Action on Social Media Posts...Yogi Issues Key Directives

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the police to register an FIR over derogatory social media posts and morphed images targeting Aditi Yadav, the daughter of Akhilesh Yadav. Speaking at a public event in Azamgarh, Yogi strongly condemned the incident and stated that no daughter should face such disrespect irrespective of political differences.

The Chief Minister said that dignity and respect towards women must be maintained in public discourse and on social media. He instructed police to take immediate action after the matter came to his notice and urged political workers to exercise restraint in their language and behavior. The controversy erupted after objectionable posts and edited images of Aditi Yadav circulated online, leading to complaints and police action in multiple districts.
