ACB Raids Transco DE Mutyam Venkata Ramana's Properties in Disproportionate Assets Case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday carried out simultaneous searches at the properties of Transco Deputy Engineer Mutyam Venkata Ramana following allegations that he had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Eight ACB teams conducted coordinated raids at 12 locations linked to the official as part of the investigation into the alleged disproportionate assets case.

The searches are being conducted under the supervision of ACB DSP Majid Ali Khan. Officials continued inspections at Venkata Ramana's residence in Meenakshi Sky Towers, HITEC City. According to preliminary information, investigators have recovered important property documents and cash during the raids. The value of the seized assets and further details are expected to be disclosed after the completion of the investigation.
