Volvo Cars has unveiled its latest mid-range electric sports utility vehicle, the EX60. The company announced that the SUV can deliver a driving range of up to 810 kilometres on a full charge. It can also travel up to 340 kilometres with just 10 minutes of charging, highlighting its fast-charging capability. In all-wheel drive mode, the EX60 can cover up to 600 kilometres on a single full charge.
Volvo stated that the EX60 has been designed to address concerns related to limited charging infrastructure, which often discourages potential buyers from choosing electric vehicles. Akhil Krishnan, Head of the EX60 Programme at Volvo, said the model aims to eliminate these fears. The company is scheduled to announce the price and additional specifications on the 21st of this month.
