

Gold prices surged sharply across India on June 15 despite easing tensions in West Asia following the peace agreement between the United States and Iran. According to market data, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold increased by ₹2,450, while 22 carat gold rose by ₹2,250 and 18-carat gold gained ₹1,840 compared to the previous close.
In Hyderabad, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold climbed to ₹1,51,530, while 22 carat gold reached ₹1,38,900. Similar price levels were recorded across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The rise pushed gold prices above the significant ₹1.50 lakh mark in several major cities.
Among key cities, Chennai recorded the highest 24 carat gold price at ₹1,53,490, while New Delhi and Lucknow stood at ₹1,51,680. Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Nagpur reported ₹1,51,530, while Vadodara and Bhopal recorded ₹1,51,580 for 24 carat gold. Prices of 22 carat and 18 carat gold also witnessed corresponding increases across the country.
