From Village Boy to Billionaire: The Incredible Rise of Groww CEO Lalit Keshre

A young man from a remote village in Madhya Pradesh, educated in his mother tongue, has now become the owner of wealth worth ₹9,960 crore. Groww CEO Lalit Keshre has officially entered the global billionaires list.

After graduating from IIT Bombay, Lalit Keshre co-founded Groww along with three partners in 2016. The fintech platform has witnessed rapid growth, reporting ₹4,056 crore revenue and ₹1,824 crore profit in FY2025.

Recently listed in the stock market, Groww’s market capitalization has reached ₹1.05 lakh crore. Out of this, 55.91 crore shares belong to Lalit Keshre himself.
