Ferrari expects demand for its luxury sports cars in India to grow further as the proposed India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is expected to lower import duties on eligible cars. The agreement is expected to take effect in 2027, and prospective buyers are already showing interest ahead of its implementation. The anticipated reduction in duties could make eligible imported vehicles more accessible to Indian customers.
As part of its expansion plans, the Italian luxury carmaker aims to open two new dealerships in Ahmedabad and Chennai by the end of 2026. The new outlets will expand its presence beyond Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Ferrari is also looking to increase the supply of cars to India to meet rising demand, as it prepares to strengthen its position in the country’s luxury automobile market.
