Ravleen Varghese, who hails from Kodumon in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, is making her mark in the international fashion industry with an inspiring journey from a small town to prestigious global runways. At the age of 18, she moved to Delhi to pursue a course in fashion design. A talent scout spotted her potential and offered her an opportunity in modelling, opening the door to international projects. She later walked in designer Prabal Gurung’s Spring/Summer 2025 presentation at New York Fashion Week, marking an important milestone in her career and bringing her closer to the world’s leading fashion platforms.
Ravleen subsequently made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, reportedly becoming the first Malayali model to participate in the prestigious event. She impressed audiences with two distinct looks and shared the runway with internationally renowned models, including Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid. Her appearance marked another significant achievement in her growing international career. Despite gaining recognition on the global fashion stage, Ravleen remains connected to her roots. She has said that she continues to listen to Malayalam music, reflecting her attachment to her cultural identity while pursuing opportunities around the world.
