The real estate market in Mumbai has witnessed another record-breaking deal with the sale of a historic bungalow in Juhu. The property, owned by the Nanavati family, has been purchased by Notandas Realty for a massive ₹221 crore. This high-value transaction has once again highlighted the strong demand for premium properties in the city.
The bungalow, named “Leela”, carries a rich history of over 70 years. It is located close to Juhu Beach, one of the most popular locations in Mumbai. Built in the 1950s, the property follows the Art Deco architectural style, known for its classic design and elegance. The total plot area is about 14,858 square feet, with a built-up area of 8,480 square feet.
Another important feature of this property is its Grade IIB heritage status, which means it cannot be demolished. This makes the bungalow not just valuable, but also culturally significant. With such rare properties coming into the market, Mumbai continues to set new benchmarks in the real estate sector.
