Imagine your name, address, father’s name even your live location being easily accessible to strangers. For women, this risk is even more alarming. A newly emerged website has now brought privacy concerns to a critical level, revealing how vulnerable personal information has become in today’s digital age.
The website in question, ProxyEarth, is now creating panic across the country. Developed by a man named Rakesh, the platform reportedly reveals personal details simply by entering a phone number. Users can see names, addresses, email IDs and even live location data without needing to log in.
Since telecom companies store personal details collected during SIM registration, there is suspicion that leaked datasets may have been used. This has alarmed users nationwide, as such exposure can easily lead to financial fraud, identity theft, and severe safety risks.
Rakesh, the developer, claims he has done nothing wrong and insists that the website only uses publicly available information. He openly mentions that the website also helps promote his other products.
The ease with which the personal data of Indian citizens is being accessed has raised serious concerns. Experts warn that misuse of such information could endanger both privacy and financial security.
