Apple first announced an upgraded, Apple Intelligence–powered version of Siri at WWDC 2024, but it still hasn’t been released. Recent reports indicate the new Siri may arrive between March and April next year. Now, leaked internal code from an iOS 26 build hints that the AI-powered Siri could launch in Spring 2026, matching earlier predictions.
According to the leak spotted by Macworld, Apple may roll out the revamped Siri with the iOS 26.4 update, which could reach compatible iPhones around March–May 2026. The new Siri is expected to understand context from previous conversations. However, since Apple has not officially confirmed this timeline, these details should be taken cautiously.
The report also suggests that the upgraded Siri won’t be limited to iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. It will likely expand to Apple’s smart home devices, starting with the new HomePod, enabling more natural conversations and contextual reminders. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman earlier claimed a similar timeline and revealed that the assistant may use a Gemini AI model for natural language processing and AI-powered web search.
