Sarvam AI showcased its first pair of AI smart glasses, Sarvam Kaze, at the AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam. The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, bringing together global AI firms, industry leaders, and technology experts. With this announcement, the Indian tech firm confirmed its entry into hardware manufacturing. The company described Sarvam Kaze as an “AI First” device, with its launch in India scheduled for May, though the exact release date is yet to be announced.
The Sarvam Kaze AI smart glasses are expected to provide real-time responses by listening, understanding, and reacting to user queries. The wearable features microphones, speakers, and dual cameras that can capture images, record videos, and interact with an AI assistant. Users will also be able to create customised experiences using Sarvam’s AI platform. The company stated that the device has been fully designed and built in India, and Prime Minister Modi was reportedly the first person to try the upcoming smart glasses at the summit.
