Samsung is reportedly preparing to raise the camera standards in its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. According to leaked prototype software details, both devices are expected to feature a new 50-megapixel primary camera with a larger 1/1.56-inch sensor, a notable upgrade over previous A-series models. The main camera is said to use either the Sony IMX906 sensor or Samsung’s ISOCELL S5KGNJ, depending on the region, indicating a stronger focus on optical performance and improved light intake.
The Galaxy A57 is expected to sit higher in the lineup with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 12-megapixel front camera, while the Galaxy A37 is tipped to offer a more modest setup with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and similar macro support. The mix of Sony, ISOCELL, and GalaxyCore sensors highlights Samsung’s evolving supply strategy. Although these details are based on early software leaks and may change, reports suggest that Samsung could launch both smartphones around February 2026, ahead of its usual schedule.
