Apple has introduced its highly anticipated iPhone 18 series, including the company’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The new products were unveiled at an event in California, where Apple CEO John Ternus presented details of the latest lineup. The foldable model is offered in Star White and Night Sky finishes and becomes one of Apple’s thinnest iPhones when unfolded. It features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display and has been designed to support two home-screen pages as well as side-by-side use of apps such as Mail and Messages. When folded, its 5.4-inch display can be used for widgets including a clock, weather, calendar and music. Apple has also redesigned iOS 27 to complement the foldable experience.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available with storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB, with Deep Black, Silver, Glacier Blue and a new Burgundy finish. The Pro models feature the A20 Pro chip with a seven-core GPU and six-core CPU, along with Apple Intelligence and new AI-powered Siri capabilities. The 48MP Fusion main camera receives improvements for astrophotography and Night mode, while users also get 4K Dolby Vision HDR time-lapse and Pro Controls. The iPhone 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display and offers longer battery life than the Pro model. Apple has also introduced AirPods 5 with an open-ear design and improved noise reduction, alongside Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, which bring upgraded health sensors and AI-powered audio features.
