Zaheer Khan Named CSK Head Coach

Chennai Super Kings have appointed former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan as their new head coach. The franchise officially announced the appointment on Monday, with Zaheer taking over from long-serving coach Stephen Fleming. The move marks a significant change in CSK’s coaching setup ahead of the 2027 Indian Premier League season.

Fleming stepped down as CSK head coach in July after an 18-season association with the franchise. Zaheer will now take charge of the team as it prepares for IPL 2027. The former India pacer brings extensive experience from his playing career and previous roles within IPL franchises.
