Gopika’s Health Condition Stable After Rapthadu Saw Attack, Says Nara Lokesh

Minister Nara Lokesh has said that Gopika, the student who sustained severe injuries in a brutal saw attack by a maniac in Rapthadu, Anantapur district, is currently in stable condition. He stated that the girl is sleeping peacefully and gradually taking food. She is also actively participating in physiotherapy and exercises aimed at improving her mobility. Medical teams are closely monitoring her condition and providing the necessary treatment.

Lokesh said that teams from the surgery and infection control departments, along with other medical specialists, are continuously overseeing her recovery. According to the scheduled treatment plan, doctors have decided to shift her to the ward after completing the dressing procedure in the operation theatre. The minister thanked the medical team for providing the student with the best possible care. He shared the update through a post on X.
