Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz has said that the country’s campaign against Iran is not yet complete. He accused Tehran of renewing efforts to acquire nuclear weapons and warned that Israel would not tolerate activities that threaten its security. Speaking at a memorial ceremony for fallen soldiers, Katz stressed the need for vigilance and national unity in the face of future security challenges. Iran, however, denies seeking to develop nuclear weapons.
The remarks come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces political uncertainty. International media reports have indicated discussions involving US President Donald Trump over the possibility of further military action against Iran. However, claims that a specific attack was discussed with Trump for November 9 during hours of darkness have not been independently verified. It also remains unclear how far Washington would support any renewed Israeli military operation.
