

New Zealand sealed the three-match Test series against West Indies with a commanding 2–0 victory, registering a massive 323-run win in the third Test. Chasing an imposing target of 462 runs, the Caribbean side resumed the fifth day at 43 without loss but collapsed dramatically for just 138 runs. Despite being well placed at 87/0 at one stage, West Indies lost all ten wickets for only 51 runs, handing New Zealand a comprehensive win.
Pacer Jacob Duffy starred with the ball, picking up 5 wickets for 42 runs, while Ajaz Patel supported him with figures of 3/23. Earlier, New Zealand declared their first innings at 575/8, in response to which West Indies managed 420. The hosts then declared their second innings at 306/2. Devon Conway, who scored a double century in the first innings and a century in the second, was named Player of the Match. Jacob Duffy, who claimed 23 wickets in the series, earned the Player of the Series award. The opening Test ended in a draw, while New Zealand won the second and third Tests.
Following the series win, New Zealand moved up to second place in the World Test Championship standings with a points percentage of 77.78, pushing South Africa to third. Australia continue to lead the table, while India remain in sixth position.
