Kimi Antonelli produced a memorable performance on home soil by winning the Italian Grand Prix. The 20-year-old Mercedes driver finished Sunday’s final race in first place, securing a landmark victory in front of his home crowd.
Antonelli’s win made him the first Italian driver to triumph at his home Grand Prix since Ludovico Scarfiotti achieved the feat in 1966. Mercedes’ George Russell finished second, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen secured third place to complete the podium.
