IPL Ends : Football and Women’s World Cups Take Center Stage

After nearly two months of non-stop excitement, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has come to an end, leaving fans wondering where their daily dose of sporting entertainment will come from. The answer lies in two major global tournaments set to capture worldwide attention this June. Football fans are gearing up for the prestigious FIFA World Cup, which begins on June 11, hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Global superstars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Neymar are expected to draw massive viewership from across the world.

Cricket fans also have plenty to look forward to. The Women’s T20 World Cup will be held in England from June 12 to July 5, with India aiming to add another global title to its growing achievements. Meanwhile, the men’s team will remain in action with a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan starting June 13, followed by a T20 series against Ireland from June 26 and a five-match T20 series against England in July. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s expected international debut has further heightened anticipation among cricket enthusiasts.
