
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the winners of the BCCI Naman Awards 2026 for the 2024 – 25 season. The prestigious CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award has been given to Rahul Dravid and Roger Binny, while Mithali Raj has received the Women’s Lifetime Achievement Award. These awards will be presented during the Naman Awards ceremony on March 15.
Roger Binny played a major role in India’s 1983 World Cup victory by taking the most wickets in the tournament. He later served Indian cricket as an Under-19 coach and national selector. Rahul Dravid, known as “The Wall” of Indian cricket, scored over 24,000 runs in international cricket and played a key role in India’s batting lineup for more than a decade. After retirement, he continued contributing to Indian cricket as a mentor, Under-19 coach and later as head coach of the senior team.
Mithali Raj has been one of the biggest names in women’s cricket and holds the record for scoring 7,805 runs in Women’s ODIs. She played a major role in increasing the popularity of women’s cricket in India. In other major awards, Shubman Gill will receive the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men), while Smriti Mandhana will receive the award for Best International Cricketer (Women). Several domestic and junior players have also been honoured for their performances in different tournaments. The ceremony will also celebrate Indian teams that won five ICC trophies, including the Women’s U19 World Cup 2025, Men’s U19 World Cup 2026, Champions Trophy 2025, Women’s World Cup 2025 and Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
