Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 witnessed several interesting developments on Day 61, with Vamsi emerging as the new captain of the house. He competed against Trigun, Swetha and Debjani in the captaincy contest. With the majority of the housemates supporting him, Vamsi secured the victory and took charge as the new captain.

This led to a heated exchange with Naresh, who defended his decision and said he would accept punishment if he was found to be at fault.
