Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has made interesting comments on his upcoming film 'Ramayana'. He opined that the main discussion should be about the story and characters rather than the budget and VFX. Salman was speaking to the media at the launch of his upcoming film 'Mathrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace' in Mumbai on Friday.
Commenting on the film 'Ramayana', he said, "The discussion about Ramayana should be about the epic, about Rama, Sita and Ravana. But it's not about its VFX and production cost. The budget of the film is Rs 4000 crore and the graphics are unnecessary," he said. Ramayan epic, huge cast and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer's music took the film to another level.
Salman also shared the details of his new film 'Mathrubhumi'. The film was originally titled 'Galwan'. The film is set in the backdrop of the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops on June 15, 2020. In that clash, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred and the Chinese side also suffered casualties. This is the most serious confrontation between the two countries in decades. However, Salman Khan has denied reports that he has changed the script of his film due to pressure from the government. He concluded that there was no truth in it.
