Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has hit back at his remarks. He has apologised for his controversial remarks to doctors who have been critical of his new health monitoring device, Temple. He admitted that it was his mistake to tie all the doctors in the country to the same knot. He made it clear that his criticism was not directed at the entire medical community. He recently gave this explanation on X (Deepinder Goyal Apology).
Deepinder Goyal recently launched a health tracking device called 'Temple'. The device, which is implanted on the forehead, can monitor blood circulation, oxygen levels and signs of physical stress in the brain with the help of light sensors. But can this device really measure blood circulation in the brain? Is there sufficient scientific evidence for the details that come from it? Many medical experts have raised questions. The price of this device was fixed at Rs 85,000 (Deepinder Goyal Temple).
On November 5, Deepinder Goyal posted a lengthy seven-point post on X on the doctors' criticism. "If the temple is a fraudulent product, people will understand it within a few days of using it," he said. He said that leaving the post of Eternal CEO and focusing on the temple project was not for money, but for a purpose. If the critics are not satisfied with his explanation, they can continue to criticize him angrily. He also commented that the Indian doctors who think they are superior do not need to pay attention to his post
