YS Jagan Alleges Mega DSC Scam, Demands CBI Probe into Recruitment Irregularities

YS Jagan has alleged serious irregularities in the 2025 DSC recruitment process, stating that it was not a genuine “Mega DSC” but a process that allegedly deceived unemployed youth and deserving candidates. Addressing a press conference, he cited several issues, including the manner in which the preparation and supervision of question papers were handled, alleged manipulation of merit lists, blocking of candidate IDs and claims of question-paper leaks. He also questioned why a candidate who had worked as an outsourcing employee in SCERT reportedly secured first rank but was not appointed or called for verification. Jagan further alleged irregularities in the implementation of sports quota, including changes in government orders that allegedly enabled direct recruitment to posts. He questioned why subsequent government orders were withdrawn after the recruitment process and alleged that complaints involving purported audio and video evidence of money being demanded for teacher posts were not properly investigated.

Jagan also alleged that the irregularities extended from the higher levels of administration to the field level, claiming that posts were filled through a predetermined “modus operandi”. He alleged that candidates were given appointments using fake certificates for sports competitions that had not actually taken place and questioned whether political or monetary considerations influenced recruitment. He said he had repeatedly raised these issues and asked questions to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh, but claimed that they had not provided direct answers. According to Jagan, the cases and evidence emerging recently point to multiple dimensions of the alleged DSC scam. He demanded a CBI investigation, stating that every case study coming to light highlights the need for an independent probe.
