Jana Sena leaders and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan's office have strongly condemned alleged false claims circulating on social media about him. The messages reportedly suggest that Pawan Kalyan is planning to launch a television channel and may resign from his ministerial post. Some messages also claim that an important announcement is expected soon and that an official statement will be released shortly. Jana Sena leaders have rejected the claims, describing the circulation of such messages as misleading and intended to create confusion among the public. The controversy has triggered a response from the party, which has urged people not to believe or circulate unverified information.
Jana Sena sources said a complaint had been lodged with the cyber police over the alleged misinformation and called for action against those responsible for circulating the messages. Some party leaders have expressed suspicion that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders could be behind the campaign. However, no independently verified evidence establishing their involvement has been made public. Jana Sena leaders criticised those allegedly spreading the claims, arguing that political opponents should be challenged through legitimate political means rather than misinformation. They have urged the police to identify those responsible and take appropriate action in accordance with the law.
