Despite an ongoing ceasefire in West Asia, tensions between Iran and the United States have intensified through sharp exchanges of words. A senior official from the Iranian President’s office, Seyyed Mehdi Tabatabaei, sparked controversy by referring to former U.S. President Donald Trump as a “child-killer.” He demanded that the United States pay compensation for damages and withdraw from the region immediately.
Speaking on Friday, Tabatabaei accused the U.S. of engaging in cheap mind games and rhetorical tactics. He asserted that Iran has always sought peace and friendship but warned that any attempt to use forceful language would be met with a strong response. Meanwhile, Iran continues to allege that civilian casualties occurred during attacks carried out by U.S. and Israeli forces before the ceasefire, including a reported strike on a school in Minab that allegedly killed over 100 girls.
