Opposition MPs Stage Protest in Parliament

Opposition Members of Parliament staged a protest in the Parliament premises on Monday over allegations of theft of donations collected for the Ayodhya Ram Temple and the alleged assault on students. The protesting MPs demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah appear before Parliament and respond to both issues, accusing the government of avoiding accountability.

During the demonstration, opposition leaders raised slogans including "Chanda Chor Gaddi Chhod," "Amit Shah Sadan Mein Aao," and "Amit Shah Gayab Hai." MPs from the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), Trinamool Congress (TMC), and other opposition parties participated in the protest. Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and K.C. Venugopal were among those present. From Telangana, MPs Gaddam Vamshi Krishna, Mallu Ravi, and Anil Kumar also joined the demonstration in support of the protest.
