'Truth Has Prevailed - Brij Bhushan

Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh reacted after the Rouse Avenue Court acquitted him in the women wrestlers' sexual harassment case. Speaking to the media, he recalled his earlier statement, saying that from the very first day he had maintained that if any allegation or charge against him was proved, he would accept the harshest consequences. He said the court's verdict had reaffirmed his stand.

Calling it an honourable acquittal, Brij Bhushan said the judgment brought happiness to him and his supporters. He stated that the verdict marked an important moment in his legal battle and thanked those who had stood by him throughout the proceedings. The court's decision brings the trial in the case to a close at the trial court level.
