Telangana Culture to Shape Adilabad, Warangal Airports and Telangana Bhavan

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to incorporate Telangana’s history, culture and architectural heritage into the proposed Adilabad and Warangal airports and the Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. During a review meeting at the Secretariat, he examined the designs and instructed officials to draw inspiration from landmarks such as the Kakatiya Toranam, Ramappa Temple and Pillalamarri Temple.

The Chief Minister also stressed comprehensive planning and coordination among departments involved in the airport projects. Officials were asked to coordinate the relocation of electricity lines, roads, water supply infrastructure, BSNL lines and water channels and execute the works simultaneously wherever possible. He directed that airport approach roads be broad and connected to important district, state and national highways. Future requirements should also be considered while preparing the plans, and any diverted water flows should be managed through suitable water bodies. Officials were instructed to complete the projects within the stipulated timelines.
