Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a sharp attack on the Telugu Desam Party, alleging that a TDP MP was caught consuming drugs, calling it an unprecedented incident in parliamentary history. Referring to Putta Mahesh, he claimed the issue does not end with one individual and questioned the handling of the matter by N. Chandrababu Naidu. He criticized Chandrababu’s response, stating that it did not reflect the responsibility expected from a leader and demanded strict action against those involved.
Jagan further stated that people have clearly understood the difference between his governance and that of the opposition. He alleged that the rival administration focused only on corruption, weakened institutional systems, and contributed minimally to the state treasury. Despite financial pressures, he asserted that his government fulfilled promises without fail, implementing welfare schemes in a planned manner with a pre-announced calendar, even integrating them into the budget. He described this systematic execution as unprecedented in the country.
