Minister Satyakumar Yadav launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that he made promises to voters in Pulivendula but left the constituency by helicopter without casting his vote. He accused Jagan of misleading people during the election campaign and failing to fulfil his responsibilities. The minister made these remarks during a roadshow in Mudigubba on Monday, alongside MP BK Parthasarathy, as part of the local body election campaign. He alleged that while coalition leaders were reaching out to people on the ground, Jagan remained confined to his palace. He also accused the former Chief Minister of encroaching on his sister's property and criticised the previous YSRCP government for taking credit for houses built by the Centre after painting them with party colours.
Satyakumar alleged that the previous YSRCP government had wronged farmers affected by the Jilledu Banda reservoir project in Mudigubba and accused it of taking a commission of ₹25 crore without delivering justice to them. Taking a dig at former MLA Kethireddy, he remarked that a person cannot become a leader merely by recording videos and staying at home. He also warned that the coalition government would not tolerate any actions undermining democracy in Dharmavaram or attacks on coalition workers. The minister promised to bring new projects to Mudigubba and said the district could become a hub for fighter aircraft manufacturing in the coming days.
