Y. S. Sharmila Reddy, APCC chief, addressed a press meet in Vijayawada and strongly criticized the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She alleged that the past 12 years of governance have resulted in economic pressure, rising prices, unemployment, and public hardship.
She also presented a 12 point list of criticism covering issues such as inflation, rupee depreciation, unemployment, national security concerns, farmer distress, and social unrest. She stated that governance has failed to deliver “good governance” and accused the government of mismanagement of national resources. Her remarks triggered political debate in Andhra Pradesh.
