The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his recent remarks, stating that matters such as voting age and election regulations fall solely under the jurisdiction of the Election Commission of India and the central government. The party said that making statements that could mislead the public, especially youth, is irresponsible for a public representative. BJP leaders urged the Chief Minister to refrain from making such comments and to focus on governance.
The party also raised serious concerns about the pending fee reimbursement issue affecting nearly 2 million students in the state. It highlighted that students from poor and middle-class families are facing financial hardships due to delays in fee reimbursement, which is impacting their education. The BJP demanded the immediate release of pending dues and urged the government to prioritize student welfare instead of diverting attention to other issues.
