A protocol related dispute in Pithapuram constituency of Kakinada district, represented by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, has triggered a strong response from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The issue, involving coalition leaders, reportedly came to the Chief Minister’s attention, following which he expressed displeasure over the incident involving former MLA Varma. He also discussed the matter with party state president Palla Srinivasa Rao.
The Chief Minister criticized the way the issue was handled, stating that disputes over protocol and flex banners are not appropriate. He advised that any concerns should be brought to party leadership or the government rather than being escalated publicly. He warned that such incidents send wrong signals to party cadre and directed leaders to ensure that similar situations do not repeat in the future.
