Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy strongly criticised BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) over his recent remarks questioning Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's qualifications. Addressing the media, the Congress MP said KTR had no moral authority to question the Chief Minister and alleged that he was unable to accept Revanth Reddy's political rise. He asserted that Revanth Reddy had progressed through years of political work and public service, eventually becoming the Chief Minister.
Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy also argued that leadership should not be measured solely by academic qualifications but by administrative ability, commitment and public acceptance. Referring to historical examples, he said several successful leaders had risen through determination and political experience. The Congress leader further accused KTR of making repeated personal attacks instead of engaging in constructive political debate and urged him to refrain from what he described as baseless political criticism.
