Mahua Moitra Questions Bengal Exit Polls

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra criticised exit poll projections after voting concluded in West Bengal. She alleged that some television channels were showing inflated numbers in favour of the BJP and questioned the credibility of such surveys.

Her comments came as different agencies released mixed projections for the 2026 Assembly elections. Exit polls are only survey based estimates, and the final results will be known after the official vote counting on May 4.
