Leaders stated that the BRS performed better in the Panchayat elections compared to the 2023 general elections. They said the party’s journey, which began in the house of late Konda Laxman Bapuji, has now completed 25 years. They also criticized opponents for speaking against K. Chandrashekar Rao despite their limited stature.
They alleged that the government is taking credit for companies like Skyroot, which were actually brought during the previous regime. They further claimed that due to minor mistakes, the party lost 11 seats in the Nalgonda district. Questions were also raised about the implementation of six guarantees, 420 promises, and 13 declarations made by the ruling party.
Leaders criticized the performance of the current government, questioning its development record in Nalgonda before 2014 and alleging neglect that led to issues like pollution of the Musi River and fluorosis crisis. They highlighted welfare and development works under KCR, including Yadadri development, medical colleges, the Ultra Mega Power Project in Miryalaguda, and Mission Bhagiratha. They also claimed that irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram brought water to drought-hit areas and criticized the opposition for rising debt and unfulfilled promises. They said the upcoming elections are crucial for rebuilding the state under KCR’s leadership.
