BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao held a teleconference with party leaders ahead of the party’s formation day celebrations. He interacted with MPs, MLAs, MLCs, constituency in charges, former Zilla Parishad chairpersons, former corporation chairpersons, and state executive members. He instructed that only invitees should attend the meeting at Telangana Bhavan and called upon leaders to hoist the party flag in every village.
KTR said that the party performed better in the Panchayat elections compared to the 2023 general elections. He noted that the party, which began at the residence of late Konda Laxman Bapuji, has now completed 25 years. He also criticized opposition leaders for targeting KCR despite their stature and questioned their credibility.
He further alleged that the government is taking credit for projects like Skyroot and criticized it for failing to deliver on promises such as six guarantees, 420 assurances, and 13 declarations. He also pointed out that minor mistakes led to the loss of 11 seats in Nalgonda district, while questioning the opposition’s governance record.
Highlighting past and present governance, he credited KCR with major development works such as Yadadri development, medical colleges, the Ultra Mega Power Project in Miryalaguda, and Mission Bhagiratha, which addressed fluorosis issues. He also mentioned irrigation benefits from Kaleshwaram and criticized the opposition for rising debt and unfulfilled promises. He stated that the upcoming elections are crucial for rebuilding Telangana under KCR’s leadership.
