A fresh case has been registered against Ambati Rambabu, senior leader of YSR Congress Party and former minister. The police in Guntur took action, stating that his protest near the Collectorate caused disruption to traffic and inconvenience to the public. He had staged a hunger strike on Saturday demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible for the attack on his house.
According to the police, the protest was held without prior permission, which goes against the rules. They said that organizing such a protest in a public place without approval led to traffic issues and public inconvenience. Based on these reasons, a case was registered at Nagarampalem Police Station.
This development has become a topic of discussion in political circles. Ambati Rambabu had recently been in the news over other legal issues, including cases related to alleged remarks against N. Chandrababu Naidu and another case in Sattenapalli. He was earlier arrested and later released on bail after spending 17 days in remand. Now, all eyes are on how he will respond to this latest case.
