Festive Rush at Tirumala on the Occasion of Akshaya Tritiya

On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Tirumala witnessed a festive atmosphere with strong devotional activity. There was heavy demand from devotees for gold and silver Lord Venkateswara coins. On Sunday and Monday, devotees stood in queues and purchased coins worth approximately ₹1.10 crore, according to reports.

Despite high gold prices, devotees showed keen interest in buying Lord Venkateswara coins during the auspicious period of Akshaya Tritiya, considering it highly sacred. Compared to last year’s sales of ₹790 lakh, this year’s figures have surpassed the previous record, marking a significant increase in demand.
